Today, Mrs. Cole's Horticulture II classes had the opportunity to speak with Sarah Archer from the 5 Heart Worm Farm. They talked about composting, the role of worms, collecting castings, and general worm anatomy. The students were able to get an up close look at the red worms as they discussed the anatomy, functions, and habitats. Next week, she will return and the classes will be setting up their own worm bins. Stay tuned for more details....

Keegan Hale is our February Athlete of the Month! Keegan earned a 3.317 GPA for the first trimester of the school year. He has a quiet personality, but is scrappy on the court and an exciting player to watch. He is one of Panthers' best defenders, consistently providing tough pressure on the ball while leading the team in steals and deflections. Keegan also contributes offensively as one of the team's primary ball-handlers, is second on the team in assists, and leads the team in three point FG%.
